i'm sure half-hour reviews where you have to reiterate basic concepts or ideas every time would be riveting

So much left to give

This edition is limited

There’s only so much can be done’

Gabriel has always been great at writing emotional lyrics.

This reminds me a lot of Us, this is maybe a little more oblique and not quite as moving to me, but anyone that digs this that hasn't heard that one should give it a peep (:

I wish I heard what you all hear in this one. Just played this and So back to back and the difference in quality is staggering.

i like this way way more than both so and us lol, but i do like both of those albums

us is almost really good and has one of his best bookend combos but all the "hey remember sledgehammer guys?" songs on it are prob my least fav peter songs ever and clash w the vibe hard. kiss the frog is one of the only two solo tracks that are pretty bad to me. this is honestly the only album of his where hes tried any songs in that lane that i like, but road to joy sells it

Hard disagree, but to each his own. I could see someone preferring the untitled records for their more challenging nature, but I like the commercial punch of so and us. This feels a bit in no man's land for me

us mostly loses points consistency wise, its ceiling is incredibly high. fourteen black paintings also rules

PG3 / Melt is the real goat of the discography. Kind of ridiculous when you think about how many sonic trends it started all by itself, the entire fucking gated drum reverb sound of '80s pop and rock wouldn't exist without it
