damn. I love the album and i'm a fellow Era Vulgaris lover, but I totally thought there were some big timers on here. regardless of what I think, you nailed the structure and elements of this album.

I’m still not really feeling this one, not sure where the EV comparisons are coming from because that album is absolutely filthy and I’m not hearing that here.

I also don’t really get the hate for villains. It has some good tunes on it, this one sort of just mushes together.

yeah i misread that nvm. his ex def accused him of some stuff but i think i got the headlines mixed up here

I mean I am now reading that his children filed for restraining orders against him for physical and verbal abuse but this is brand new news to me

Five-year-old Wolf offers similar accounts, corroborating the alleged verbal abuse and violent threats against Dalle’s boyfriend. “He is scary. I am scared when I go to Dad’s,” Wolf’s restraining order states.”

yeah that date checks out i remember hearing about it around then. still jam SFTD on occasion but not really interested in hearing new material from a band with this person at the helm

I thought thas was bs or something and it was Dalle and her partner who where behind that.

I’ve read a few articles and am not seeing any resolution to the matter just a lot of finger pointing from both parties but having all three of your kids testify against you isn’t a great look. Even if the ex wife and partner didn’t have clean hands in all this either I don’t see how they could have gotten all three kids to say he was an abusive father without any weight to it

Ah shit. I kind of always expected something to come out against Homme, ngl. Dude always seemed like he'd do some fucked up shit in his private life. Guess I won't be revisiting this
