just saw these guys live and the music is absolutely batshit awesome but i was incredibly disappointed that they didnt have a drummer with them and just played to the backtrack. go figure the drummer has a hard time enjoying a band without a drummer.

Generally speaking I would somewhat agree with that.

Counterpoint tho: Making light of and/or trying to invalidate the existence of systemic discrimination (one of the things Gyro has continuously done) towards marginalised people leads to more violence against them.

So making light of people who do that (which to my knowlegde doesn't necessarily lead to negative consequences for them in their day to day lives) seems minor in comparison.

I don’t agree with the things gyro says, i think they’re repugnant and honesty i don’t understand how he hasn’t been permabanned yet. But joking about (or seriously suggesting, as in the case of user cold) suicide is not “making light” of anyone, it’s just messed up

I dunno. Not speaking of Gyro specifically, but i think there are plenty of people in the world that would leave it a better place if they just took a rope to the rafters. Like, I’m not gonna shed tears for a pedo or human trafficker, whether they slit their shit or not
