I'm just so over this kind of sound. These guys do a much better job of this than many of their contemporaries, but it's still such a shit genre (metalcore). The cleans are mediocre and sound very generic to me, and the screams aren't much better. They do have some interesting elements to talk about musically, and i feel like this would benefit greatly from better vocals/a different style.

I do like some albums in the genre, and I mean... Converge duh. But yeah, a lot of the genre is just shit like this that sounds almost completely indistinguishable from other bands. This is a bit of a different case because the music is actually engaging a good bit of the time but the vocals are totally nondescript
