Pure Adult is a good band with a lot of caveats that I ultimately appreciate for challenging my taste and sensibilities, in a way that I think is salutary cuz it’s an actual challenge, there are some elements that REALLY grate instead of doing so only in theory. I could see if someone thought the collateral damage outweighed the creativity. But I ultimately like them and they’re great live. So much better than this
