Solid review as always from Sowing. This one's tough...I feel huge whiplash from this album, maybe more than anything they've done. This Is Why, Figure 8, Liar, and Crave are some of my favorite sonic moments on any Paramore album tbh. But the first half is so different and frankly weaker. I almost wish they had fully committed to the sonic profile of the second half

To be honest, Paramore is a mediocre band that should have disappeared after Riot…

This dethroned Riot (still dec) as the worst Paramore record, shit was definitely bottom tier Paramore with a bunch of killer singles until this existed

The album is fairly average in comparison to their two previous outings tbh
