Not suprised he left it was only a matter of time really. He was basically only filling the place while everyone coped with the loss of Tom. The albums he was on probably where a decent cash injection for Sylosis. Always said that thwse guys basically became a sylosis gofundme

Most people rated this low without giving it a fair chance. It’s a good metalcorepop album

One of those people who enjoy their older sound and lament that they couldn’t pivot successfully into their current sound? Yes, yes I am.

I have never given an album so many chances.

the low ratings for this make sense - it's essentially just a retread of their last album, and does nothing new. not really any specific hooks that grab me even the way "Impermanence" and "Dying Is Absolutely Safe" off the last album.
but let's be real... at worst it's an inoffensive, average record. which for architects standards must suck because All Our Gods was incredible, but i mean hey. they're bigger than they've ever been so who are we to judge?

The songwriting is dogshit dookied by a horse huffing jenkum, but the production and mixing are pretty offensive
