More concerning than Demon's 2.5 for this is his 3.0 for DARKNESS ON THE EDGE OF TOWN. My man obviously doesn't know impeccable Heartland Rock when he hears it.

is that a dunk on Bruce or a dunk on Bjork

perhaps both

perhaps neither

art is dead.

true

only been to one Bruce show and it was one of the best i've been to tbh. seemed like he played for six hours. tons of setlist variation, played a handful of obligatory fan favorites but also dug pretty deep into the oeuvre for some hidden, unexpected gems.

can't say i don't think the ticket prices are high for a septuagenarian rockabilly but also can't say i wouldn't (or won't) pay it again lol

He played in South Africa, and I didn't think the ticket prices were exorbitant for the show they put on. Liked the show so much I bought tickets for the second night when I got home.

I swear every time I find myself liking a part of this, the weird clarinet band comes in and either makes the songs sound awkward or just plain uncanny af.

i think if the clarinets and the gabba interacted more it would be a little better

I think the clarinets are just too jittery and don't slow down when they need to. It would've worked so well if they ironed out the harmonies and made each track sound more distinguishable from each other

Easy. Fossora is the best Björk album in two decades. It is true she has left some behind though.
