I'm really enjoying this actually. Nothing that would be called groundbreaking, but it's quite melodic and smooth. It's nice to hear Cedric playing with more grounded vocal melodies.

This literally could've been under any other band name since it is such a farcry in quality and style from anything they ever did previously. They should've left Mars Volta in the grave and continued under a new moniker entirely if they were going to put out something so radically less engaging and interesting.
