idk about ‘anything else’ so far as comparisons go, this just reminds me of The Jesus Lizard, which can only be a good thing really
and godflesh

I hear a touch of early Swans and later-era Daughters, too. But they do enough to make it "their own," for sure.

Band's own summary of their sound (Jesus Liz/Nick Cave/Korn) makes perfect sense from the start tbh
And yeah idk what the best song here is, but Why is defs up there. Hard album to rank. Would say that Slaughterhouse was a much better opener/single than an album highlight though - shit is obvs solid, but I don't think it stands up with the best. Has that feel of the EPs of laying it down without quite flying off, but boi does the rest go

Never been a huge fan of this style of music. I listened to this and I imagine it's probably pretty good for this brand of chaotic noise constipated vocalist whatever, but I'll probably just refrain from rating it. Review is stupendous.
