"deathspell did it better" Deathspell Omega are untouchable but they channel completely different things in their music. These guys managed to do something very unique since vile luxury. Their representation of urban decay and dystopia is uniquely interesting. They obviously drew from DsO, the godfathers of extreme dissonance, but they are creating their own thing. This album sounds like a subterranean journey below modern, degenerate, capitalist ridden cities. It's like you are watching everything from below, the floor being a crystal clear glass. Incredible stuff
