Yeah he's a monster for sure. Always great stories to his lyrics too.

Just here to report back that new album fucking rips. 45 minutes of just pure heavy chaos but still incorporating some of those melodic guitar sections and big grooves.

Spent a lot of time over the weekend with this and The Valley, both are which are stunning albums. Went through the whole discog over the week, will plug the new one in soon and see how she goes.

Crazy thing with these really great records they put out, is how the deathcore guys absolutely deride it. There was a show here where any song off their old records had the crowd going off, moshing, circle pit, new stuff, people going to get drinks, bathroom, dead energy, no vibe. I know a few guys who listen to the most dull, knuckle dragger Deathcore who outright say "they're straight trash now, so boring".

This is def way better than The Valley imo but that album is also fucking awesome

Yeah, deathcore whitechapel is boring to me. This shits allllllll over the new album - I dig the new album for the gym but that’s really it. This hits so much harder for me, I still play it constantly and I can’t imagine myself jamming the new album that much after a month or two of playthroughs at the gym

Whitechapel been cooking lately, but have to say some of the totally clean songs are brutal bad. The cleans are good occasionally, but a couple of these and most notably the title track definitely got some major butt rock vibes. But I Will Find You / bloodsoaked symphony and without us all slap.

Yeah I mostly agree with that, to include Whitechapel prior to the Valley. I do dig Suicide's first two though.

There's tons of good deathcore out there. Also finally jamming this one and it's shaping up to be my fav Whitechapel out of the 3 that I've heard. By a pretty large margin too. New one is cool and so is This is Exile but this one is an entirely different beast.
