Hate to say it but the new one went in one ear and out the other. Just seemed like an album full of the kinds of songs from this that I'd skip. Obviously I'll be giving it several more chances though, as Bryan is among my top 5 country artists.

I'll say this - Jake's Piano is awesome and is really helping me come around to the new album's overall vibe. It's very laid back and not what I was expecting, but it's starting to win me over 3 spins in.

Eh I dunno it's back down to a 3.5 for me. It's enjoyable, but feels like ZB on autopilot kinda. Not a big fan of most of the guest features and everything, while pretty, feels ultimately forgettable. Wish I felt differently because Elisabeth and American Heartbreak are a 1-2 punch of 5/5 classics.

Anyone ever check out Morgan Wade? Her new one dropped Friday too. Her sound is quite poppy but for whatever reason it works for me. Big fan of this new one and Reckless from 2021.
