'I'm just glad to not be let down by an album for once.' [2]

They nailed it with this, not a bad song on the whole album.

Also Purp I just don't understand how you can 3.5 this but 4 their B-Sides EP. Does not compute.

tis not a take i agree with but in all fairness the songs on the b side ep rip and a few of them woulda made this better in place of its weakest songs

Honestly could not pick a single track I'd replace with one of the Prologue songs. Maaaybe Welcome In with vague but even that hurts.

I've read people comparing them to Glassjaw a couple times now. I could easily name 10 bands they sound like (in parts at least) but Glassjaw would not be one of them

welcome in is absolutely a keeper for me lol. my least fav two here are pretty easily disinter and such a shame. theyre both decent but imo theyre a cut below the rest. honestly like every prologue song more than them too. would probably drop those two for disposable care and vague respectively (or maybe foreplay instead of disposable bc the courtney/foreplay combo has mad potential even tho i like disposable more)

those are the only two songs im not absolutely in love with tho. havent been able to turn this off its replay value is insane

No love for sober exit(s) damn :[

I feel you onionbro, although I love Di-sinTer and such a shame the Prologue songs could have easily made it on an album. Hell, if they put all three on here and the album was bloated I wouldn't even care haha.

ya ngl altho id always take a short tracklist over a long one, they coulda pulled off a radical esque 16 tracker w all this material for sure. and sober exit rules too i j feel like its not as needed from a balance perspective if that makes any sense

I picked up a few influences, lots of early noughties post hardcore. Avoids being derivative though, well done mofos

Prologue is higher in theory but I honestly need to recheck both. This one hasn’t been sitting with me as well as I’ve hoped but I’ve been p stressed recently with my last few assignments so that may have affected it

Honestly this is pretty great. Heard their first few singles, liked it and forgot, and this hit right and made me feel bad for forgetting them in the first place.
