I think Seasons In The Abyss was Dave's most finesse performance. Not his fastest but certainly his best. Every drum fill and tap of the cymbals are among the biggest highlights on that album and often drive the rhythms when the guitars don't.
Divine Intervention was Paul's best performance imo. His playing is very technical and coordinated on this album without being sloppy. I found him to be a fitting replacement for Dave even if he isn't as Charismatic as Dave.
