Weapon may be my favorite Luna song as well. I just think it falls off a bit after that.

And yeah...Mariner is one of my favorite albums ever so clearly I'm the odd one out here. Luckily they fuckin' rule across the board, so no hate for anyone who says any one album is better than any other.

I'm really confident on this one. Think it may have been on the CoL page for a few days after the release and then peeps decided to give it its own page.

I was late on giving Mariner a good few play throughs but it ended up being right up there for me. Chevron was the track where everything clicked: the way her main vocal melody rides over the guitars and rhythm section is just perfect. I’ve always loved female vocals entwined with heavy music, though (e.g. Maria Christopher on Oceanic).

In Awe Of is an all time great COL song. Seeing it live elevates it even more.

Am I the only one who find Into the Night really boring (until the outro)

I like Mariner but I think it's in the weaker half of their discog. That's no fault of Julie though. Her screams are incredible.

'mariner had been on its own page since it came out lol'

definitely not, it was on the CoL page for a good while initially. It has been on a separate page for what seems like a long time now, a time that now significantly dwarfs it being on here... so it's become the new normal I guess.

I love Vertikal, but only have it ahead of the s/t and Mariner as far as the hierarchy goes. That really isn't a criticism though.

this has probably surpassed Vertikal as of today, very consistent album. I can’t think of a single track I’d cut. Doesn’t (yet) have the highs of their best material but I’ll wait patiently
