I do love early Failure, they had more things going on harmonically, but they gained some kind of gloominess with their last couple of releases that they didn't have back then.

Anyone notice the artist image for Failure on Spotify? Never seen that before.

Yeah it's been up for a few years, they wanted to leave Spotify the same time Joni Mitchell and Neil Young did because of the whole Joe Rogan spreading covid misinformation (I don't listen to the guy so I don't know how true/false it is). They ended up pulling their latest albums (everything after FP) but they can't remove their first three because I don't think they have the rights to them.
Joni and Neil have since come back, I wonder if these guys will. Given that they aren't all that popular (which is crazy since they're an unreal band) I don't think they would benefit all that much from it.

Ah yeah I remember that happening with the other two artists. Would be good for Failure to return, as I really want to re-listen to this lol
And the last time I heard Joe Rogan speak was when I watched Fear Factor as a kid on prime time TV

Why is nothing past fantastic planet on streaming?

I think the band owns the rights to those albums and took them off streaming because they’re not being compensated fairly

I love this album. Hit different by the river during the uncertainties of COVID. I spent a lot of time contemplating life listening to this.
