They never matched the quality of their debut, but made some killer records since (including this one)

Slept on this one a bit but liking what I've heard so far

Fell in love with this as soon as I started listening to it. Not really a doom fan, mind you. But this album is excellent. "The Void" is my favorite and probably one of my all time favorite songs regardless of bands/artists.

yeah, not a fan of that production on the new track at all. The snare sounds so dead on that verse, it really needs to crack and reverberate, it just sounds sad. The vocal spacing and effects on the verse vocals is not good. It's too much and sounds messy. And then the vocals drop in volume for the chorus, everything sounds super compressed and chorus just sounds weak compared to the verse? Who mixed this?

I actually really like the song, production is a bit off though but I love the melodies.

god those *drums* man, the double bass pedals sound fucking ridiculous
it's a shame because if it were produced properly the song itself would be fine i guess? nothing remarkable by their standards but still fine. feels like a throwback to 'hope' but with a more anthemic chorus i suppose.
