Pitchfork isn't worth reading tbh. If it's not rnb/soul/rap/pop it's not worth hearing

"Yeah this has some good shit on it, kind of wish there was more of Chelsea with Bannon providing (only) screams at opportune moments though, like building up to a punishing climax after some ‘tension’. I’m definitely less interested during the male clean vox segments." [222222222222]

@Gyro pitchfork comparing this to Breaking Benjamin is laughable, it's the kind of thing the writer thought sounded really clever but it just exposes a total lack of awareness around metal/sludge/hardcore.

He's honestly amazing scream or clean, a proper once in a generation vocalist

His cleans are good in small doses

I do kind of wish Chelsea was more prominent vocally, but her writing is all over the album and she elevates the title track, Lord of Liars and Crimson Stone to god-status

I might be unable to troll converge threads after what this album has done to me. I repent!
