Not one, not two, but rather three people are being fully lobotomized by some impressively large power drills on Brain Drills last album. That cannot simply be topped.

butt talking out of his butt. I've watched Spencer play this shit. Also Pika, it is possible that people enjoy this more than First Fragment (I do) so maybe let that go.

durrzo only reason I mentioned first fragment again is because butt said he didn't like this so I thought he might like that one instead

to me, this band's sound will forever be the audio equivalent of having a seizure in a crashing airplane with spazzy strobelights

Speed is not what makes me love this band first. Their musicality, composition abilities is the best part imo. Their capacity to write tech death with catchy riffs is pretty unique. Of course their technical abilities helps.

The way the bass stands out is also incredible. And the vocals used as a rythmic instrument brings something more.

@DocBass. Exactly. And I do understand people who feel this sounds artificial, because it's very machine like, but their way to compose and create riffs is unique. I would probably not be a fan

of 99% bands doing this but Archspire songwriting is phenomenal and separates them from the rest.

Title track is probably my favourite song here, love those dissonant chord sections with the guitars. Gives me big Artificial Brain vibes.
