not sure how I feel about We Go Together. I’ll either end up thinking it’s the worst one or its completely psychotic structure will grow on me a lot

Ex Lives was like resolving the initial built anger. New Junk was like the perfect build on the remnants of that anger and their earlier partying vibe. From Parts Unknown was depression and Low Teens was existential angst in its most terrified, angry, and depressive form. This album is like Keith and the others got over many of the issues expressed in the last two albums, but due to the changes in the world were lead into a frenzy that channels that mixture vibe of NJA - anger and partying - with more unrestrained creativity and maturity.

i also agree about We Go Together not being as amazing as the rest of the album. actually kind of a disappointment because of expectations and comments here. still good tho.

As much as I love this album, I don't think they'll ever top Map Change which might be one of the best songs ever recorded in the last century.
