I'm really enjoying it. Very impressed how they can make an album so radically different from the predecessor and for it still to be very interesting and listenable.

I'd say at least two to three listens, but you're probably right, I gave it another listen during my break today, and the transitions on this feel clunky

At least we got Owls being a classic and Monarchy being amazing

That is true. Both are of those are solid. Hopefully this is just a transitionary period for them

Some good moments on here but they are strewn about so sparsely throughout the album that it feels like a chore trying to sift through the rest of this snooze-fest to find them. Hopefully they get the kinks sorted out before their next release.

Its not Rivers but it's still damn good. It's better than their debut so I don't really understand the average rating right now.
