I feel like their sound is becoming a bit more lethargic. Now I don't expect them to sound like they did in the early 00's forever but this is missing the energy that even TBEITBN had. Seems to be a wall a lot of bands hit when they reach middle age.

Well, I finally listened to Vheissu a couple of times, and yes it's good and it has a few balls to the wall moment which are welcome, but I'm on team Horizons/East (and even Palms!) more than the other stuff I was able to put my hands on.
Nevermind the indie comment, I should have said 00s emo/post-hardcore, listening to TAITA it's hard to differentiate from the likes of silverstein or finch, bands that people who used to look like that would listen to at school
