for me it's the opposite. smile has a 90s grunge feel to it that I adore. greatest hits just sounds like a tantrum, which sometimes I'm in the mood for and other times I'm really the fuck not

there's an improvement here from the last 2 albums but its mainly in cutting out filler, i'd give this about a 7.5 instead of a 7/10. i think this band has potential but is still far off from being anything groundbreaking or at the forefront of the genre
