I know people are saying Radiohead, but as this wears on and gets past the first 6 songs, I start to feel like I'd be better served listening something like Ali Farka Toure or Baaba Maal for repetitive hypnotic stuff. Like Lam Lam by Maal is more compelling than any of the longer songs on this.

Apparently this draws on lots of North African stuff, which I'm not familiar with, so I'm a bit off geographically from an artist perspective, but I definitely hear African vibes in this.

How do you pronounce the band name? I can't imagine this will spread through word of mouth.
