if porc had said The Suburbs he would have been 100% accurate and this thread would be deaded
but he did not
he fucked up. he picked the wrong arcade fire (which is indeed 10x better than this). he made a mistake. and now people making bad decisions are calling him out for elitism because they refuse to suffer small mistakes from people with better taste than them and it makes me fucking sick
what a disgrace

I only work with the raw material I am given, and alas

People are not en masse 5’ing The Suburbs

And in perusing people’s 5’s for commonalities, I was so high on the promise of confrontation, I did not make it past the A’s before posting. No thought, no consideration, pure kinetic energy. Artificially manufactured because it sure did not come from this snoozer of a Squid record.

I will apologize to Win Butler if he buys a turmeric latte the next time he comes in

porcupinetheater I hope you realise the implications of this, this world is suffering from a blight of artificially manufactured postjank and you think it's appropriate to use that technique against the zombiefolk who support the movement. please think harder next time, this isn't the ussr and it's not '45.
stop mimicking relentless energy.
also it has occurred to me that the one HMLTD song I liked is better than anything else by the entirety of this scene, is their album acceptable?

"Johhny, you fool, you gave that album a 3.5"

yes i did not find it thank you this data

yes. it was manufactured by black midi and we have all suffered the consequences. the vaccine is a coping mechanism; only proteate artistry can save us in the long run
and nice i will accept it
