Yeah, he did a fantastic job. He’s like God City’s B Tier guy when Kurt is busy. Which leads me to believe maybe Kurt was tracking on the album?

I thought this was interesting. In an interview when asked what the band would do with a 'U2 sized budget'

"Spend all of it and more. The Armed is a net zero proposition. Everyone involved is doing it because they believe in doing something big. No one ever wants to be making an album because we need to make money. I think we would try hard to make the greatest, most intense, and probably the most literally blinding show anyone has ever seen. We know how to make a small amount of money look like a lot more, so if we had a lot of money we would make it look like a lot, lot, lot more."

I had a feeling these guys made zero money off of this with how few followers they have despite their massive video productions and whatnot lol. They said in an interview that most of them have film backgrounds though which is why they are able to accomplish what they can. I'd love to see what they'd do with a U2 sized budget

I have to sit down and get through this clusterfuck of an album soon. Got halfway and switched to something else. They are certainly ecclectic to say the least

The film background makes perfect sense. I was just watching one of their videos with amazing shots and great cuts. It's beautiful!

btw I love the background and context this review gives. Makes the album much more intriguing to me since I am new to them. Unfortunately it gave me zero indication of what it was going to sound like, which left me baffled and surprised when I did not enjoy my listen.

This is awesome but am I crazy or is the overall mix volume super low? Like everyone is saying its loud which I hear in that its super noisy (I'm down) but I have my spotify and PC volume literally maxed and it is still not loud enough for me lmao
