Could be a 4.5

So hard to pick a fave, maybe Rumours of Water expresses best all sides of this album. I think I ll vote for that one.

This Whisper is Ours and Rumors of Water both fall into the "best representation of the whole album" category IMO

Damn I was already excited to check this and just read that this has William Tyler on guitar as well as Tony Crow and Paul Niehaus of Lambchop, quite a lineup!

I didn't even know that or I would have worked it into my review. Good find. Guess I have to check William Tyler now, ha!

Definitely check Modern Country or Goes West, beautiful instrumental Americana guitar music

If it's anything like this, then I'm on board.

It's not necessarily close to this, but I think you'd probably like both of those albums. Goes West is more "poppy", very accessible with shorter songs. Modern Country might his best though, but it's not immediate and basically has post-rock style song lengths
