The 65dos lads come across as arrogant tbh and I say that as a fan of their music. They seem like the types to be contrary just because they can.

Yeah, not to mention that other music that Joe claims is undermined by the punk label had strongly influenced punk and post-punk from the 70's through the 80's. Proto-punk was literally simplified blues rock with more attitude. You can find dub/reggae/funk/etc influences all over the post punk landscape. Silly argument imo. Idk how he could listen to their records and go, "this isn't punk!"

“ Mr. Motivator is hilariously bad”
I just can’t hate a song with the lyrics “like Connor McGregor with a Samurai sword on rollerblades”

I mean he can have his own opinion on what his music is.

It’s kind of a bad take isn’t it?? Lol what if Chief Keef decided his music was classical instead of Chicago drill rap? It is what it is.

Anxiety is cool. Its where the blunt lyrics work, and the buildup for the last bit is massive

I like Reigns, a Hymn and Model Village more than anything off their other albums. I think I honestly prefer the lyrics on this (dumb as some of them are) to the first two. I mean, they're no Future of the Left in that department.
