Aids, yeah, same concert - and a great show, yeah! Jonas performed two days earlier with Apparatjik, so I guess he got some help with the show from them, thankfully.
I was at the entire festival, and yeah - Saturday was insane! I didn't see Refused, I was sitting in line for the Springsteen concert (insanely good!), but I saw the Roots from a good view (amazing with the crowd, I must say - even we in the line couldn't stop moving!) and the encore of Bon Iver - which looked kinda great. What was the scening, icicles and a white castle or something?

ZilbelPing: It's a little easier to see them often when you're from Denmark ^^ I also think I saw some of their concert with my parents and sisters in start-2000 when I was a kid.

no idea what the stage setup for Bon Iver was but dude you missed out. Refused were easily the best show of the entire week. such an insane amount of energy and enthusiasm. amazing show. but then I don't care for Springsteen so oh well. but yeah man you missed out. Bon Iver's main set was awesome too.
but yeah, Mew. O_O
the new song sounded pretty sweet hey?
and I didn't see Apparatjik cause I was too drunk on Thursday and passed out after Janelle Monae but their lineup makes me think I'd like them quite a bit (Mew+Coldplay+a-ha=awesome)

Yeah, exactly - a sweet superband!
Mew's new song was very promising, so I'll be looking forward to hear some more from them. I haven't heard so much of No More Stories, but it's alright - but not the same as Frengers or the Glass Handed Kites.
Yeah, I missed out on Refused, I'd heard their show was awesome! Bon Iver I get to see this November, as he's coming back to Copenhagen. And Springsteen is one of my favorite artists, so I'd have hated myself to miss a 3-hour rock-marathon with him. Also, I touched him twice! (Fanboy...)

haha awesome. didn't know Bon Iver is coming back to Copenhagen that should be sweet. and yeah Frengers and Kites are miles above their other stuff (No More Stories... is good though)

I'll have to check out that album then - the ratings in here on it are great!
Yeah, that's why I'm not bummed out over having missed him at the festival.

I love every single song on this album equally except Comforting Sounds because that's the greatest thing ever created by humans.

These guys were my favorite band for a bit, I need to go back and listen to them again. Clever and creative musicianship and songwriting with a healthy dose of experimentation, all while writing tight, catchy pop songs with excellent melodies.
