alright let THIS be the pop album that rocks from 2020. "110%" or whatever it was called initially was a great song, as was "sweet talk". not so familiar with her later work though but here we go

i'm relistening to this and it's undoubtedly pleasant but feel like it lacks some of the big time ... buildup & payoff moments (?) that i love in the aforementioned stretch in tough love. for a pop album that's supposed to be dance music it feels kind of relaxed to me idk. perhaps more of a 3.5

I like this album and would recommend it to a lot of people, but some songs make it hard to see beyond the vintage disco/house aesthetic (like "ooh la la"). choruses don't quite pop enough for me. basically think I agree with Romulus
