I really never understood the issue that people have with Rody's voice.
Really my only issue with this is that the production is pretty flat and compressed. It's lacking presence below 100 Hz so kick drums lack impact and bass guitars lack body, guitars are a little soft and fuzzy sounding , and cymbals have a little bit of that "shattering glass" sound.
A small gripe considering how great this is musically, though.

For some reason I had these guys confused with The Fall of Troy, and thusly the opener confused me a bit.
Digging this a lot so far, though. What a nice surprise

more so than on their other albums, i hear more of the modern instrumental metal touch. I could see parts of some of the songs on a Sithu Aye or Scale the Summit album.

This is really solid but also kind of samey to me. Rody's voice itself sounds great but I feel like he's always hitting the same notes. I'm missing those crazy memorable vocal hooks.

Had to stop reading after the first blasphemous sentence but I’ve heard elsewhere that this album is rad so I’ll put ears to it

liking this quite a bit so far. was worried about rody's voice when i heard the beginning of the canary when they released it as a single but he actually sounds pretty great. happy he was able to make a comeback from his issues

This album definitely gets better as it goes. I'd say the first song and the 2 singles are actually the weakest. Having some more prominent growled/screamed vocals in here helps a lot too.

Hmm this is just aight for me. It's kinda corny
