It's the best track imo. I don't know what it is but I enjoy this album more this year than I did last. I think I was too hyped for it and it let me down in that sense. But now, I love it!

Only one spin into this, but really enjoying it so far. 4 might be ever so slightly too generous (given that I almost want to take 0.5 off just for the whoas in Monsters, man that was shit) but the rest of the album is pretty tasty.

At least this feels more varied. Every song is the exact same on Safest

I've come around to enjoying this just as much as The Place I Feel Safest

Guess I'm one of the few that likes this better than The Place I Feel Safest. Poverty of Self and Better Days are phenomenal.

Man I love this album. Something needs to be said for how hard it is to create such a cohesive album tonally, thematically all the way through. There isn't a single song on here that sounds out of place

So true. Album really grows. The band is awesome. One of the best in metalcore.

Place I Feel Safest slaps way harder [2]
this because this album really introducing literally nothing new compared to that record (where it was peak IMO)
this record is solid, but some experimentation or growth from the EP sound wouldve made more sense to me

I don't think my opinion of this album has changed over the months since I first heard it. Still an extremely solid slab of metalcore. The vocalist is very good and I quite like the cleans, just would prefer slightly less use of them over the course of the album.
They're supporting Crystal Lake in the UK early next year, might check them out.

theyre really good but their EP has such a cool melodic sound, it feels natural to keep on with that growth but to each their own

these guys have a lot of potential but after this record idk if theyre gonna actually do much with it. brian is an absolute monster vocalist tho for sure and they have a plethora of absolute jams (apnea, night terrors, into despair, forever marked to name a few)
