I like mess' vox on dbm lol. I think he was best on death star though. I really really wish he would experiment a bit with his vocals.

after listening to TBM a bit and returning to this, it's clear they took their pop elements and turned them way up for their newer material. The post-hardcore elements are only afterthoughts on newer material, leaving it to seem like "pop-rock with some post-hardcore quirks", which is... yup that's what it is

Lyrics Lie, Born To Fail and Nothing Shameful are my winners here after first listen. It's about what I expected, but I find enough to like in every DGD release it seems. Definitely lower than Mothership and Artificial Selection though. Also, does anyone else think AS>Mothership or is that just me?

Eh, the problem with Artificial Selection is that it's bloated with way too many mediocre filler songs. It could've been a brilliant 9 track album at least in my opinion.

"could have just said you speak spanish, pretty cringy post" Never said I wasn't cringy my dude.

MS >>> AS 2.0 > IG > Happiness >> Death Star >= DBM2 >> ArSe > DBM1

the only thing i can say with certainty about Afterburner is that it definitely doesn't top Happiness

Wow, if prisoner is a strong track I'm really going to hate this.

Prisoner is one of the strongest here unfortunately lol.

Well I mean it's all fine. IT's DGD. It's more of the same. Imagine an album of only 7/10 DGD filler from the Tillian era. It's...fine.

Say Hi, Night Sway, Born to Fail are good. Nothing Shameful and Prisoner are excellent. There's like a 6-track run of really lame tracks in the beginning so this is a 2nd half stacked album.

Wouldn't call 3 meh songs bloated. The only ones I don't care for are midnight crusade, hair song, and son of robot.

I'm about to be crucified but even though I like DGD, I don't care at all about Care, Flash, Rattler, Shelf Life, Slouch, Story of my Bros or Hair Song.

Well, opinions are a thing I guess... I take issue with albums that have over 3 songs I dislike.
