I just downloaded this after finding out that the this and Leaving Your Body Map were out of print.

This album is brilliant here only on my 2nd play through...

I need Kayo Dot stuff.

If you hate arty stuff, willfells, Toby doesn't get much artier than his solo album.

You should listen to Kayo Dot's Choirs of the Eye as its better than Bath in my opinion and will get you more accustomed to Toby's artier sides.

I've heard that the first maudlin record is more straightforward, but to be honest its the noodling, offbeat-instrument-featuring, post rock aspects that sell me to Toby Driver projects.

Listen to Leaving Your Body Map or even My Fruit Psychobells, A Seed Combustible for heavier maudlin.

Don't bother with My Fruit Psychobells because most of it sucks.

You seem to like this toby driver fellow...is that album more metal-er than this album" (that's how some people describe it) because i love the heavy stuff on this album while the less heavy stuff probably will take some time to get used to
