It's just a lot to digest. I like it, but I'm not sure I have the strength to stick with it.

imo this is better than bleeding but worse than the previous 3 before that. overall quite an easy and smooth listen

I was expecting some kind of weirder prog, it's actually quite catchy. Opener and While the Spiders Spin are my personal highlights.

Their two earliest albums (and to a lesser extent, the third one) are the weird ones.

Only song that is kinda meh is Back to Black, rest is great or fantastic

First two albums are defo their best, next two are a bit of a step down, and most of this feels like run-of-the-mill prog. Sounds like Bleeding b-sides if anything.

For me, the singles and "Sisters of the Dawn" stood out from the start, then "Pull the String" picked the baton.
This is a slow grower for me.

Not sure how I feel about this one yet.

I think this is too long. Not enough ideas to justify it being an hour, it would have benefited from having 15 or so minutes shaved off. Maybe the songs will stick out to me more with repeat listens but that’s where I’m at now

Really great comeback record. “Sisters of the Dawn” is an early favourite.

Artwork is very Adam Burke-esque, I dig.

I enjoyed this album quite a bit. It’s the kind of progressive metal that isn’t too technical and has a 90s Alice in Chains grunge sound as well. It is a little long but most of the songs are great. Reminds me a lot of Circus Maximus without the shred.

It's definitely a grower. It took me multiple listens for it to totally click with me.

Gave this a really good couple of goes today and I can't avoid the feeling that it's only half bangers, half sheer disappointment.

There's a lot of subtlety to it. Anyone looking for something as proggy and weird as the first three albums or as chunky and instant as Bleeding is going to have a problem. You're going to have to be in the mood for some dark atmospheric prog. Like the darker side of Fates Warning or Kingcrow.

imo the biggest problem here is that not all of the tracks are as creative with their harmonic choices and chord progressions. some feel a bit bog standard in terms of the riffs and are carried by the vocals which are admittedly very good. however the overall decent songwriting and subtler progressive parts do make up for it a fair bit

This was my first dosage to be fair so I went in with a pretty open mind. I invested heavily in the groove and those chunky well-crafted riffs bit lost it at the forced vocal cleans and the 'lighter' trans progressive sections. I don't know - it defines mixed feelings over here.

If you're in it for the groove and the riffs then this album will miss you guaranteed as that's not the focus. It's more about the melodies and atmosphere.
