yeah i agree with this. especially ishmael, which had a tonne of potential to be an absolute banger of a track.

I don't see that lack of direction you guys talk about, actually what I see is that a lot of care has gone into making the songs not overstay for too long. As far as post rock goes, this album is super easy to digest.
I mean, that's positive in my book, but I guess for others could feel like exactly the opposite.

Both are very strong bands in the genre, bands you can count on for a strong release.
