@Sinternet
It's straight to the point in a jarringly square way, and then you juxtapose that with the over the top stylised dramatic delivery and it becomes a bit hard to stomach imho. I don't mind aggressive vocals at all in general fwiw.

From the translations I’ve read ‘on the nose’ sounds like a fitting descriptor, which admittedly may be off-putting to someone who understands the language, or I can at least understand that viewpoint. It’s very easy to put it to the back of your mind when you aren’t confronted with it on every spin... easily forgotten.

Man, this is fantastic. And I say that as a person who rarely loves a screamo release, despite liking a lot of screamo-adjacent genres.

Is this better than Clairvoyant?

For my money, yes. They are quite different releases in all fairness. This is more delicate and post-rocky, the only 'heavy' thing here is the intense emotional weight and anguished screams. Beauty in melancholic fragility, or something.

I could swear I saw that Demon eye shed a tear.

I think I'll check this...still have to dig that Cara Neir as well...

The Cara Neir record is damn good, in fact I loved it so much that I ended up checking almost all of their discog. I'm thinking about promoting it actually, just taking my time preparing for end of year stuff.
