Sir Aberf! (bows profusely)

It's a really good time, that's basically what I get out of it. Will probably jam it on a better environment and time of day and bump it a bit but on first impression I think she could (and she will) do better.

Been thinking (thanks tectac ;]) and this kinda appeared to me:

S: An Angel Held Me Like A Child, Pocky Boy

A+: Poison Arrow

A: Eva, Pretty Bones

B+: Reverie

B: Veil of Darkness, Blue Butterfly

C: Pixel Affection

tell me why this is wrong

Pretty Bones S+ tier, otherwise I pretty much agree with all of that. Maybe I’d swap Pixel Affection and Blue Butterfly, too.

Oh damn relistening now and Pretty Bones can join Poison Arrow on A+, sorry Eva

Blue Butterfly and Pixel are my least faves fo sho - Butterfly is probably the most insubstantial track here while Pixel is the only mildly irritating one so apples and oranges I guess

Pixel affection C tier is a weird take Johnny. It's at least an A. And I pretty much agree if you move Pretty bones on S.

Pixel Affection being the worst is not a hill I'm gonna die on; I get the appeal but it rubs me the wrong way for some reason :'[

Maybe I just need to jam it more, but this hasn't really been anything more than okay for me.

Pretty sure you need to jam it more ;] started as a low 3.5 for me, pushing on the top end of 4 now

I mean, I thought so too. My first listen was like, "Okay this is pretty cool." Then each track kept on clicking one by one. And then I started to notice common themes between the tracks. And then bam, okay this is too good.

Whatever clicks on you tho. This album to me started as aesthetically pleasing background music until I couldn't get enough of it.

I’ve been listening to this on heavy rotation ever since the review was on the front page. Thanks for bringing this to my attention! It’s growing by the week into quite a hybrid tear-jerker and soothing night drive record.

Johnny was right. This is growing on me mad hard. I might up my score to a 3.5.

Checking now, interesting so far! Very dream-poppy but also reminds me of Holy Other and Sohn a little bit.

Seems like I need to give it a few more spins before settling for a rating. I certainly like it though!
