Is it just me or has the production really gone downhill on the last two releases? Coffins sounded smooth whereas this sounds very thin when it should sound huge.

They've not really done anything substandard ever...
Aside the odd track or two. Superb band. I love Toby's solo stuff too.

phobos is def my fave from these guys, but this release is amazing. loving the textures. only downside are some of the vocal whispers, which is really just an aesthetic gripe.

Phobos is second hardest to get into after blue lambency imo, but once you get it, it's so good. Tracks 1 and 3 are like the two greatest Kayo dot songs to date.

Still excited to listen to this despite the rating.

FINALLY got my copy in the mail. Good news: this rocks. Basically just continues in the general direction their work has been headed since Coffins. Great album!
