Yeah, i mean, malediction brings the album back to the ground, and its a great song. Dreaded mystic is a great piece of work though definitely.

Yup that is how I feel as well, Abyss is a nice detour, but Malediction is there after it to wrap everything up with something seen prominently within the rest of the album, it's called cohesion
