I LITERALLY copy/pasted your own words and just changed one potential aspect of music for another, e.g. instead of 'droning ambiance' I wrote 'droning riffs'. So if I am reducing (which I AM, that is literally the entire point of the comparison which I stated was based on your original reduction), then it just serves to prove my point that you were reducing 1 hour of music down to a fundamentally unjust comment.

Not sure what I'm doing that's making you think I'm trying to score 'pointz,' I'm all for discussion just as much as you are. If I'm presenting animosity somehow than I apologize, it's hard to convey normal speech online sometimes.
And upon reflection I will admit I've been unfair in downplaying what others may perceive as relevant factors. I do not believe, however, that I am thoroughly misguided in the sense that this has much more going on; I still find it to be rather lacking, all things considered.

Mars, it seems you misunderstand me. You have been fairly pleasant and presented reasoned arguments for your positions (I just happen to fundamentally disagree with them, hence why I'm... arguing against them, lol.)
When I talked about not trying to win internetz pointz, I was literally just talking about the fact that I, myself, wasn't trying to do that. This is where the confusion has occurred. I was not suggesting that was what you were doing, just emphasising that is not what I was doing.
