somehow i'm just instantly put off by any band that has letlive mentioned in the similar bands section even though fake history is a pretty solid album

These guys are absolutely nothing like letlive lol who was the fuckin idiot that put them in the similar artists.

The similar artists in general dont really describe these guys well.

I see a lot of Atdi nervous attitude, plus those Hispanic roots. Glassjaw's rage VS melodics and post songwriting...some HXC like riffs like Converge. I could even mention some bits of mathy TDEP or ETID's southern passages. Off course all those are much bigger bands in the game ...but I think it describes their sound pretty well. That's not to say there's not true self-identity here though. I don't know letlive. or frameworks (and don't actually intend to) so I can't say nothing about that...

Definitely becoming one of my fave bands in the genre. Very peculiar band here, influenced on true quality.

Letlive are pretty nice aside from their final album. Havent listened to Frameworks in forever but I liked Loom in high school, should return to it.

Some of these riffs definitely remind me of ATDI. In terms of aggression, this is much more harsh and raw, but those melodies bear similarities.

Much more harsh and raw indeed, but agree totally! It's accurate to be the first similar artist. Its a pretty good starting point.

You are correct sir. And passing through the debut you'll find that even more.

I don't hear much Glassjaw here aside from a hint of Material Control. Much more in common with more 'organic' sounding hxc bands - Envy, Marnero, Direwolves, Cara Neir, even a less expansive Gospel

These guys are closer to a mathcore band than most of the phxc bands people are trying to compare them to

Like a lot of their stuff reminds me of Beecher - Breaking the Fourth Wall

Las Gorras Mayúsculas (which is a strong contender for my favourite here) almost sounds like Unwound covering Sikth and I am very on board with this
