also I'm trying to decide if SSPU has a song of the decade for my feature

if panic switch came out in 2010 instead of 2009 it would have been that, but instead I'm kinda torn between Skin Graph, Nightlight, and Wild Kind (maybe some others from Neck of the Woods too)

Mean Spirits could be a song of the decade. Maybe?

i like how they subvert expectations and make us like nelly in the final season lol. also robert california is the worst thing about the show, easily. pretentious douche.

Out of Breath is my personal favorite but from this decade their biggest accomplishments are probably Skin Graph or The Wild Kind.

I totally see what you're saying about Robert California, but I love what his character brings to the show. He brings out the crazy in so many characters (Dwight, Ryan, Gabe, Andy etc.). And his monologue during his interview floors me every time.

while we're on the topic, Robert California is one of the funniest /best additions to that show by far

lol it's pseudo-profound nonsense tho. all he does is talk about how everything in the universe is sex (which is some armchair psychology crap and isn't even accurate). i swear, all the characters drop 30 iq points when he enters the room. idk how nobody can ever contest the shit he says

By floors me, I mean it's hilarious because it's very obviously bs. Not that I actually think it's profound. I think the writers know how ridiculous he is. There's that scene when Dwight goes to Robert's apartment to ask for the manager position, and he realizes how full of shit Robert is.

Makes sense considering your tastes

Rejammed We Are Chameleons and I don't understand the divisive opinions on that one. Such a well written jam that is easily the most Carnavas / Swoon sounding
