Chur JJ, a favorite film of mine. Yeah still open to it clicking for me, we'll see. Perhaps a more concentrated listen will do me some good.

I should probably check 1983, even if just for completions or curiosities sake... it wasn't on Spotify last time I looked and I'm lazy so it ended up being forgotten.

It just sounds like something those wanna-be hipster DJ's get stoned to. Blegh.

Some of his previous stuff hits hard though.

This is better than 'You're Dead'. I won't argue against any of the three pre-YD releases being superior though. I'm still deciding exactly where this falls in his discog, but I won't dwell on ranking them right now.

It feels like a culmination of everything he's done before and there are some really interesting textures here, he has such an interesting way of producing immersive soundscapes that just seem to grab me, and this is no exception. Then you've got a few 'bangers' here which I'm almost surprised I like as much as I do. I notice the individual tracks more in the first half, but the 2nd is arguably better as a whole.
