@Hal Considering that premise, what do you think would happen? Obviously those people don't just then disavow being Nazis, they simply go into the dark and form tight-knit groups, unified by their hatred and mutual censorship. It's absolutely awful, and yet this is what is happening because people can't stand to have their feelings hurt online. It's disgusting and will lead to violence.

well yea people who have already adopted the ideology won't just forget about it. i guess i'm thinking more about the people who weren't yet neo-nazis but were attracted to it by way of those mediums. umm i mean it's a pretty complex thing but, i'd say for the most part, whatever perception of the world and of themselves that would've steered them toward those avenues would've also probably just navigated them toward something commensurate, in regards to ability to sustain and keep aloft the web of pathology and malperceptions which propelled this desire in the first place, without the existence of the former
