"This review mentions Toby Driver and Thom York. I'm gonna eat a sock. "
not sure if there's any context to this comment but I love it

The experience of listening to this during the small hours of the night is exquisite.

Zimmer is an overrated hack. Film deserved a better score than just synthesized Inception BRRRMS especially with that epic opening sequence introducing the city

Zimmer is an overrated hack. [2]
Gives vangelis album a 5 and Hanz Zimmer a 2
You are going out all guns blazing today. I like it.

This genuinely sucks. I could only feel like I’m watching a Hollywood blockbuster while watching the movie because of that score. Which is an absolute shame because Blade Runner 2049 is one of the only films I can call visually breathtaking. Even if the original looks a tad dated now, Vangelis’ score just sucks you right in

Visual fucking masterpiece. I think it runs a bit long at almost 3 hours but it's otherwise really solid

Saw the movie in theaters and was pretty bored by it, but I downloaded it recently to give it another watch

Have you guys ever seen that movie Soldier? It takes place in the Blade Runner universe

Soldier is a good movie to watch on a boring, rainy Sunday. I always enjoyed it.

Yeah it's not what I would call a good movie per say. Fun mindless entertainment though

Termi 2, though

The Raid 2 though
|

Didn't care for the Raid 2 tbh. Thought the first one was way better
|

They're both classics but...bruh
|
| |
Just felt like they tried to cram too much into one movie to me. I like the kitchen fight though
