They've found a niche and are just sticking with it. Fair enough tbh.

stop talking like that about how people talking about the album aren't rating the album. it's douchey

It just seems like they don't want to affect the average.

You're on the wrong site if you get annoyed by people talkin shit haha

I'm not annoyed, it's just really amusing how someone has the time to repeat the same comments over and over but not rate the record they're repeating the comments over. lol

I just really rarely rate things. Usually don't feel like doing it. I've listened to the new Daughters like 25 times through and haven't rated it ffs.

Finally checked this. This is my second Architects album experience and I still don't get the big deal about this band. It wasn't bad but it's nothing special. Some good vocals and synth-lines here and there.

@Ghost: Fair enough lmao. I was just thinking you were mad enough about the record that you'd want to affect the average in some way.
I'm glad the average is below that of All Our Gods now, thank fuck.

It was inevitable. Im pretty sure AOGHAU had a 4+ for a brief moment when it came out

@Xing: Yeah, and I honestly think AOGHAU deserves that more than this does. This is a lot closer to Daybreaker in quality, once more critics start rating it I think it'll drop below LF//LT too.

AOGHAU is definitely the best out of their 2010 records

"Vocals are very irritating."
Right! Who ever convinced Sam that layering the everlasting fuck out of his clean vocals with that shitty 'scream singing', needs to be repeatedly kicked in the taint.
Where did the cleans from 'Dethroned' and 'In Elegance' go?
The only great thing I can say about this record is that the production is hands down their best. Nolly is a very good producer. But shit, even that is relatively wasted on compressed mixing. There's not much dynamic range to be heard within the glossy production.
I think I'm officially checked out on the Architects trip. These dudes are just making the same boring shit now, over and over. What was the point of Josh Middleton joining the band if you're just going to neuter the dude?

Agreed hard. I genuinely thought they'd do something different but it's just another boring chugfest that genericore fans love so much. Now I just hope he leaves the band and does more Sylosis stuff. It's been a while.
