if you're into cheesy retro bands, you might get a kick out of GVF

For me I can't bring myself to hate it to the degree that everyone else does, the tunes are derivative and cheesy at worst, nothing offensively horrendous here really.

I don't think you can compare Elder or Windhand to this tbh, but yeah there are a lot of other bands making much better revival rock.

I haven't listened to a second of this either. And yet, while some of the more pedestrian minds on this reviewing site may scoff at such an audacious a priori judgment, a refined and sagacious mind such as my own can arrive at universal truths in the total absence of examination, through the rigorous science of deduction.

Only ever heard their EPs, never expected them to actually get popular. Always sounded like a diet version of a cover band pretending to not be a cover band.
