I’d never really heard of this band before. But if the rest of their stuff is anything like this I have to check it all out. I kinda expected to not like this as the genres listed sound like Swans, but I find this to be nothing like them and leagues better.

Self-titled Daughters is their most accessible by a mile, for those unfamiliar. Still lots of dissonance in the guitars, tumultuous drums, and Lex's signature vocals, but condensed into nice little packaged songs. Still think S/T is my favorite, but this is a damn close second.

I gotta give Less Sex a few more tries cause it's my least favorite song on the album after a couple listens. Not that it's bad but the quiet parts seem very awkward and out-of-character vocally and just as a Daughters song in general, doesn't do a whole lot for me

I was gonna hate on your music tastes but your ratings aren't too bad. Though I disagree with BMTH suicide season being a 4. I can wholly understand why some people will automatically hate Daughters.
